Sequence: Board Game

So I have not been posting at the same frequency as I started. Anyways, who is excited with our week's mail. We found a promo code for a board game a few weeks ago. Since we don't know how to play this game and price is reasonable after the promo code, we decided to go with the buy. Anyways, it has finally come through, and here it is! Yay! It got here. Opening it up Sequence Photo Welcome Sequence to our Board Game Collection. Learn. Laugh. Venture.

Layover: Allie's American Grille

On our way to Germany in 2011, our flight to Heathrow got delayed. We needed to get out of London Heathrow Airport and stay a night at a hotel nearby. We got to the hotel and we were so hungry that we ate at this place.

The Order: 1886 Review

During this past weekend, one of the games I have always wanted went on a PlayStation Flash Sale. The game cost $7.99 which wasn't that bad considering the overall good reviews the game had. The game was known to have had a pretty good story as well as good graphics and gameplay. So without giving much of the story, I'll try to get my point of view of the game. The game feels like a movie. With the 2 hours, I spent this weekend playing the game. One thing is evident. This game surely feels like a movie. To me, this isn't a bad thing. I have always been a fan of great story lines on video games. This keeps you interested in playing the game and rather than just finishing the game just because you spent money on it. The controls are pretty good; although if you are used to Battlefield or Call of Duty or any kind of first person shooter, you'll need to adjust at the trigger button. Overall, I like the game. It's a good buy even if you won't get it on sale.

The Best Green Tea Ice Cream

Shinsengumi Hakata Ramen Green Tea Ice Cream We have tried a lot of green tea ice cream from different restaurants and even packaged ones from the stores. But not one of it can make us crave like the green tea ice cream at Shinsengumi.  This ice cream has a really good balance. It's not too sweet and it's not too bitter. You'll be able to taste a hint of green tea. Pair that off with the red beans on the side and and it's awesome.

Appreciate The Good Things

Last week, on drive to work or home, I kept seeing reminders that California is in a drought and that we should limit water use.  I just wanted to share a photo I took at Getty a while back. To me, this photo just shows the beautiful things we have and we should learn to appreciate what we have now.

Yoli: Better Body System Week 2

Opened Yoli Box Read up on  Yoli Week 1 . This is a blog update for our second week of Yoli. As mentioned on the first one, that went better than what I thought it would. We were able to get into the program and I felt like our body has adapted to the program. I think the hardest part now is continuing and making sure you stick to the program. One thing I've learned so far is that I don't miss the coffee as much as I think I would. So far, everything has been great. Video Games: Madden 17 NYG-CLE First Drive Analysis

Playing video games have always been a hobby and on top of that I love playing the Madden Series. Although, I don't buy it yearly; the notion of building your own franchise has always been an interesting thing. So I thought this would be a good time to start a post that analyzes my first offensive drive in each Madden game I play from now on. On this post, we'll take a look at the Season 1, New York Giants - Cleveland Browns. This first offensive drive that we would look at started with a touch back from the kickoff. Cleveland just scored a touchdown and we're immediately down 7 - 0. First play, I thought there was a good gap on the right hand side of the line. So I audible and changed the play to a run play. The second play was a RB screen pass that I thought would've worked. But instead the defense made a good play slicing through the blockers and tackling the RB for a 4 yard loss. On 3rd and 9, Shephard gets open up in the middle for a long pass.

Science Is Awesome #Throwback

#Throwback to the time we visited California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco, California. California Academy of Sciences There was a time when we went to San Francisco and did not have a plan on what to do. California Academy of Sciences popped out as one of the good places to go. This place is located right in the middle of a big park. So going in, you'll already feel nature all around you. At the time we went, parking was pretty easy. I'm not sure if it's always like that or we were just lucky. But if you are ever in San Francisco, check out this place. Their planetarium is awesome. Science is awesome.  Ticket Information can be found in  California Academy of Sciences  .

Yoli: Better Body System Week 1

Yoli Box Training your body to be healthier. After a few months of thinking and planning, we finally started the using Yoli and following their suggested daily meals. I'm not going to lie; the decision to go through Yoli was made because we wanted to lose weight. This is our initial goal. And getting used to eating less and making healthier eating choices would just come second. There are people close to us that have gone through Yoli and we have heard a lot of good things about it. These are my initial measurements: Weight: 209.6 lbs Waist: 43.5 Right Thigh: 27 Left Thigh: 27 Right Arm: 14 Left Arm: 14 Hips: 44 Yoli will pretty much get your metabolism going. Life in a Dessert #Throwback

#Throwback to the time we always got Italian Ice. When we first walk in to Frostbites: Crepes & Frozen Delights , we were excited to try something new. The place wasn't that big, but there were so many choices and combinations to choose from. You can pick from a Sorbet Chill (plain Italian ice) or a Sorbet Cream (Italian ice with vanilla cream). Orange Ice in a Sorbet Cream became one of the favorites together with watermelon flavors and taro. Looking back at this experience, it's our life in a dessert . We make different choices in life and these choices can result in something bad or good. And there can be choices that stick for the rest of our life. Remember to learn, laugh, and venture.

Journey starts here...
